Overview

​

The course is intended to run for a minimum duration of 12 months however we would recommend that learners complete 15 - 18 months of study to meet the course requirements. Link to the standard and assessment plan.

Progression

​

It is intended that the learner will progress from this standard onto a level 3 standard of Chef de Partie or Senior Chef Production.

Entry Requirements

​

Employers will set their own entry requirements for this course but it is recommended that learners are currently able to work towards a level 1 in both mathematics and English, currently hold a level 1 in both subjects or currently hold a level C/5 or above at GCSE in both subjects.
