Senior Chef Production - Level 3 - Apprenticeship

Overview

 

The course is intended to run for a minimum duration of 12 months however we would recommend that learners complete 15 - 18 months of study to allow full coverage of the standard. Link to the standard and assessment plan

 

Progression

It is intended that the learner will progress from this standard into a senior chef manager role or similar, move onto further training or a higher level apprenticeship.

Entry Requirements

Employers will set their own entry requirements for this course but it is recommended that learners are currently able to work towards a level 2 in both mathematics and English, currently hold a level 2 in both subjects or currently hold a level C/5 or above at GCSE in both subjects. It would also be expected that potential learners have achieved a level 2 Professional Cookery qualification or have completed the Commis Chef standard at level 2 or have relevant industry experience before undertaking this course.
